A golden wilderness,
My red truck and I…
Adrift and free….between
The earth and the sky….
The prairie grass nodding
Swaying with the winds
Clouds towing their shadows
Over the green fields….
Wandering alone…
Through the endless trail….
Searching for a rainbow
To colour my life again…..
I needed to believe…
It was there waiting….
Shining only for me….
Just over the horizon….
In a nowhere land…
Lost….beyond my world…
